Wisconsin Woman Who Stabbed Classmate as Part of Slender Man Fiasco Won't Fight Extradition to Wisconsin After Fleeing Group Home
A dramatic turn of events unfolded when Morgan Geyser, a 23-year-old woman who stabbed her sixth-grade classmate in the name of horror villain Slender Man, agreed not to contest her extradition from Illinois back to Wisconsin.

She stabbed her classmate, Payton Leutner, 19 times in 2014, narrowly missing her heart, while another girl, Anissa Weier, cheered her on.
Weier had been released from the institution two years prior after earning conditional release, and Geyser's case was seen as a similar attempt to impress Slender Man. The stabbing incident was part of an online phenomenon that originated in 2009, with the character growing into a popular boogeyman in video games, stories, and even a 2018 movie.
Geyser now faces new charges for her escape and may have her conditional release revoked if she is returned to the institution.

she's crazy! I'm glad she won't fight extradition tho, I don't think anyone should be stuck in a group home forever. But seriously though, it's wild how something online can take over someone's life like that. And poor Payton Leutner 
who went through all that... anyway gotta wonder what's gonna happen next, maybe she'll get some proper help and move on from this Slender Man drama 
...I mean, think about it, back in the day we had all those scary movies like Scream or Friday the 13th that were just so thrilling...and now we have a case where someone's life was literally changed because of some internet meme 
. and its crazy to see how far Slender Man has become, I mean I remember when it first started being popular back in 2009...it was like this creepy little character that people thought was harmless, but not this girl who stabbed her friend 19 times 
that's just insane. And now she's not even fighting extradition back to Wisconsin... what's going on in her head, dude?

i feel bad for payton & anissa who were both victims of her actions maybe she should think about how her actions affect others before doing something crazy again
