Six Nations: England wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso could miss whole tournament

England wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is set to miss his entire Six Nations campaign after suffering a hamstring injury in training, according to head coach Steve Borthwick. The 23-year-old Exeter player started all four of England's autumn Tests but suffered the setback last week and was forced to sit out Saturday's 48-7 victory over Wales.

Borthwick hopes for a positive update on Feyi-Waboso's condition when he sees a specialist, but it appears likely that he will be ruled out of the entire tournament. This is a significant blow for England, who are already missing several key players, including prop Ellis Genge and fly-half Fin Smith.

Sale's Tom Roebuck came into the team for his first match since November and scored England's fifth try against Wales, while recalled Bath wing Henry Arundell bagged a hat-trick in the first half of England's championship opener. Tommy Freeman, who has scored in seven successive Six Nations games, is another wing option, although he started at outside centre on Saturday alongside Northampton team-mate Fraser Dingwall.

England face Scotland next Saturday and Borthwick hopes that his side can impose their game on the opposition. "We want to turn up there next Saturday and be fully locked and loaded to go and impose our game on them," said fly-half George Ford. "That's the key." The loss of Feyi-Waboso will be a significant blow, but Borthwick is confident that his side can still achieve their goals in the tournament.

England's 36-player training squad includes a number of other injured players, including prop Billy Sela and lock Bevan Rodd. However, with several fit players returning from injury, Borthwick is optimistic about his team's chances. "We've got a lot of good players who are available for selection," he said.

๐Ÿค• The Six Nations can be so brutal! I feel bad for Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, hamstrings are always a worry when it comes to sports, especially rugby. Hopefully the specialist will give him some good news soon ๐Ÿคž.

I'm surprised England's squad depth is being put to the test this early on. You'd think they'd have more time to get everyone fit before the big games. Still, with guys like Tom Roebuck and Henry Arundell coming in, it shows they've got options ๐Ÿ˜Š.

One thing that does worry me is that England's missing a few key players already... if Feyi-Waboso is out for the whole tournament, that's another one to add to the list ๐Ÿคฏ. Hopefully their training squad will be able to step up and fill the gap ๐Ÿ’ช.

ugh that's a bummer ๐Ÿค• feyi-waboso was looking like a game changer for england and now he's out for the whole tournament ๐Ÿšซ it's just not fair to the team โฐ they're already missing so many key players, this is just another blow ๐Ÿ’” but i guess steve borthwick is right, there are some other talented wings on the squad like tom roebuck and henry arundell ๐Ÿคž hopefully george ford can lead them to victory โœŠ๏ธ

ugh, another hamstring injury ๐Ÿ˜’... like, can't even get past training and already they're losing players ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Feyi-Waboso was starting to make some noise with that sweet left wing strike ๐Ÿš€. I guess we'll just have to watch him miss the whole tournament from his couch ๐Ÿ˜ด. On a bright side, Tommy Freeman got in there and showed us what he's got ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Now they gotta deal with Scotland without their star wing... wish 'em luck ๐Ÿคž

๐Ÿ˜ England's loss of Feyi-Waboso is a harsh blow, especially considering how vital wings can be in the Six Nations. Can't help but feel they'll need to rely more on those other options now... ๐Ÿค”

Aww man ๐Ÿค•, another player injured... that's like, so frustrating! Feyi-Waboso was looking sharp too, and now England has to adjust again ๐Ÿ˜’. I mean, can't they just get a break from injuries? ๐Ÿ™„ It's like the universe is testing their endurance ๐Ÿ’ช. Anyway, I'm sure Coach Borthwick will find a way to make it work... he seems pretty optimistic about it ๐Ÿ˜‰. But still, losing Feyi-Waboso for the whole tournament is a big blow ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Hopefully, Tom Roebuck and Henry Arundell can step up and fill the gap ๐Ÿคž. And on a brighter note, at least they have some other players coming back from injury... fingers crossed it's a positive update! ๐Ÿ’•

Ugh, great just what we need... another hamstring injury to add to the ever-growing list of England rugby players who can't seem to get out of their own way ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Feyi-Waboso was having a decent game before that setback and now he's toast for the whole tournament... just peachy ๐Ÿ™„. And let me guess, this will be another "we'll make do without him" situation where England gets creamed by Scotland again because they couldn't bother to get their wing line sorted out in the first place ๐Ÿ˜’. Borthwick is so optimistic that's got to be a laugh... maybe he's been watching too many movies ๐ŸŽฅ. At least Tom Roebuck showed up and scored, yaaay ๐Ÿ™ƒ. Can we just fast forward to when all these injuries are sorted out already? โฑ๏ธ

Ugh, this hamstring injury news is super frustrating ๐Ÿค• especially with England already missing key players. Feyi-Waboso was starting to make an impact too... I mean, 4 out of 4 autumn tests isn't bad at all! It's like they just can't catch a break, you know? ๐Ÿ’” Anyway, hopefully he gets better soon and we get to see him on the pitch again. The team is still looking pretty solid though, especially with other players stepping up - Arundell was on fire last weekend ๐Ÿš€ and Roebuck scored that try in Wales! Fingers crossed they can keep it up and make a good run in the tournament ๐Ÿ’ช

aww, sucks for Feyi-Waboso ๐Ÿค•... gotta think outside the box here...

anywayz, it's def a tough break for England ๐Ÿค–... gotta rely on other players now ๐ŸŽฏ like Roebuck and Arundell ๐Ÿ‰

Ugh, another wing player going down ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ... Immanuel Feyi-Waboso's hamstring injury looks like it's gonna keep him out for the whole Six Nations thing. That's just not what you want to hear when you're already missing a bunch of key players ๐Ÿ˜ž. England's gonna have to rely on guys like Tom Roebuck and Henry Arundell, which I guess could work out... but it's not exactly ideal. On the bright side, they've got some other injured players who are supposed to be back in training soon, so maybe that'll bring some much-needed depth to the squad ๐Ÿคž

๐Ÿ˜ฌ England just lost their young wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso to a hamstring injury, and that's not all - they're already missing other key players too ๐Ÿค•. This is bad news for the team, especially with Scotland up next. Borthwick seems optimistic, but it's hard to see how they can fill the void left by Feyi-Waboso's speed and agility ๐Ÿ’จ. With a few fit players returning from injury, there's still hope, but you have to wonder what could've been if everyone was healthy ๐Ÿคž. The team is going to need to step up their game if they want to take on Scotland without one of their best young players ๐Ÿ‘.

ugh im so gutted 4 england ๐Ÿค• but i mean cant say im surprised waboso was always a bit of a gamble in my opinion & thats just the way it goes sometimes. still gonna miss him tho, his speed on the wing was a threat & now hes out for the tournament ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ

i hope they can find some replacement who can fill that void but its not gonna be easy. got to see how the other wingers step up next saturday ๐Ÿ’ช sale's tom roebuck came in and scored a try so fingers crossed he keeps that form ๐Ÿคž

omg what a bummer for england ๐Ÿค• feyi-waboso was having such a great run too! they're already missing so many key players and this injury is gonna hurt their chances ๐Ÿ˜” but i guess steve borthwick's got faith in his squad... 36 players training squad? that's a lot of guys ๐Ÿคฏ hope they can get everyone fit in time for scotland ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

Ugh, hamstring injuries always seem to be a major setback in the middle of a big tournament like Six Nations ๐Ÿค•. I mean, Feyi-Waboso was doing so well too, starting all those autumn Tests and getting game time against Wales... now he's out for the whole thing ๐Ÿ˜”. And with England already missing key players, this is just another nail in the coffin. Can't they just get a few healthy breaks without losing anyone else to injury? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ It's hard not to feel like all these injuries are just piling up at the wrong time... ๐Ÿ“‰

๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ‰ England's gonna need all the luck they can get now ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’”, losing Feyi-Waboso for the whole tournament is huge ๐Ÿค•...but Borthwick's still optimistic and that's what matters ๐Ÿ’ช...they got some good players like Roebuck & Arundell who might just save the day ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿˆ...Scotland's a tough opponent tho ๐Ÿ˜ฌ, they gotta bring their A-game if they wanna win ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ

๐Ÿค•๐Ÿ˜ฌ England's loss to Feyi-Waboso is like the ultimate plot twist in Game of Thrones - you're just building up this hype and then BAM, your star wing gets hurt! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Anyway, I'm not surprised tho, injuries are part of the game. ๐Ÿˆ But still, it sucks for Feyi-Waboso, who was having a breakout tournament season... ๐Ÿคž fingers crossed he comes back stronger and healthier than ever. ๐Ÿ’ช Can't wait to see how England adapts without him, though - gotta rely on the rest of their talented squad! ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

omg, did u know that the new fortnite season is coming out soon? i cant wait to play it with my friends again ๐Ÿคฏ and what's with all these injuries in rugby lol, cant they just take care of themselves like we do after a long gaming session? anywayz, back to rugby... imo, england needs to focus on their scrum now, that wing injury is a big loss for them ๐Ÿ’” and tom roebuck looked pretty cool tho ๐Ÿค“

aww man, England's gonna miss that young wing Feyi-Waboso so much ๐Ÿค•... he was lookin' pretty sharp on the pitch ๐Ÿ˜Š, startin' all four autumn Tests and stuff. hope he recovers quickly ๐Ÿ’ช, 'cause they're already dealin' with some other injuries... like Billy Sela and Bevan Rodd ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. but yeah, Steve Borthwick's still all about stayin' positive and focusin' on the next match against Scotland ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ‘Š
