Judge to hear arguments as advocates sue feds over conditions at Chicago-area ICE facility

man this is so messed up 🤯🚫 the conditions at this immigration facility are literally inhumane I mean 200 people without access to legal counsel that's not how a civilized country treats its own citizens let alone foreigners who are just trying to live their lives and seek asylum these ppl are being treated like animals no private calls with attorneys no basic necessities food water medical care it's like they're locked up in some kind of detention hell and the government is just sitting there doing nothing about it meanwhile ppl are dying or going crazy from lack of attention advocates have been warning about this for months but nobody's done anything about it 🙄

🤯 I'm seriously worried about the conditions at this ICE facility. How can we expect people to trust our immigration system when they're being treated like animals? The fact that detainees are being denied basic necessities and forced to sign paperwork without understanding is just unacceptable 🚫. It's not just a matter of humane treatment, it's also about upholding their rights as human beings.

And what's really concerning is that the government is trying to shift the blame onto the people who are speaking out against these conditions 🙅‍♂️. The idea that critics' claims have led to death threats against immigration officers is a classic deflect-and-divert tactic. It's time for our leaders to take responsibility and make real changes to ensure that everyone, regardless of their immigration status, receives the dignity and respect they deserve 💪.

ICE facility in Chicago is straight outta horror movie 🎃 ICE officials say detainees are fine, but I'd trust my abuela's instincts over them 😒 These people been held for months without seeing a lawyer or getting basic necessities – that's not humane, that's inhumane! 🤖

🤯 this is just getting out of hand! ICE is supposed to be a place for people seeking asylum, not some kind of jail where you're treated like dirt 🚽👎. I mean, 30 years in the US and they still get held without bail? What's the point of even having a system if it's just gonna ignore all that? And don't even get me started on the lack of access to medical care... it's like they're trying to break people 🤕.

I'm so sick of these politicians saying that protests at places like this are just about "inciting violence" or whatever nonsense. Newsflash: if you're treating people like animals, they're gonna get angry and protest 🚫. The fact is, there's some serious systemic problems here and someone needs to step in and fix it ASAP 💪.

It's time for real change, not just empty promises from politicians who don't actually care about the people affected by this kind of treatment 🙄. We need judges like Judge Gettleman who are willing to listen to both sides and actually do something about it 🔊.
