Chamelo Music Shield Review: These Sporty Speaker Glasses Have One Thing Meta Needs

Chamelo Music Shield Review: A Sporty Speaker Glasses That Hit a Few Wrong Notes

For those looking for an audio-centric alternative to high-tech smart glasses, Chamelo's Music Shield offers a unique blend of volume, cool adjustable lenses, and wraparound design. However, the lack of features like touch controls, app support, or voice assistants might be off-putting for some.

One standout feature of the Music Shield is its audio quality, which packs a punch, especially when it comes to volume. The speakers are decent, but not without their quirks - such as occasional bugs with calling and lower-than-expected battery life compared to competitors like Meta's Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 AI glasses.

The wraparound design and electrochromic lenses are where the Music Shield truly shine. The lenses can adjust tint instantly and to a level you've specified, making them more comfortable for wearers than traditional transition lenses. Additionally, the frames are light enough to be worn comfortably during extended periods of time.

However, the music shield falls short when it comes to features that would elevate its user experience. There is no companion app or voice assistant, and touch controls on the arm are non-existent, making some functions feel clunky and outdated.

Despite these limitations, the Music Shield can still be a viable option for those seeking open-ear audio with wind protection in sports environments. Its unique electrochromic lenses and loud speakers make it an interesting choice. If you're willing to overlook its bare-bones features, the Music Shield might just hit all the right notes.

Pros: Volume, decent audio quality, light weight, cool adjustable lenses.

Cons: Lack of touch controls, app support, voice assistant, fewer features than competitors, limited battery life compared to other smart glasses.

In conclusion, while the Chamelo Music Shield offers some innovative features, its lack of key functionalities might make it less appealing to some users. If you're looking for a straightforward audio-focused pair of glasses with cool lenses, the Music Shield is worth considering - but be prepared to overlook some modern conveniences in favor of volume and wind protection.

Ugh, I feel like Chamelo is just ripping off Ray-Ban's style with their Music Shield 😒. Those electrochromic lenses are so cool! I mean, who wouldn't want a pair of shades that can adjust tint instantly? But, come on, where's the app support and touch controls?! It's like they took all the fun features and left them out 🤔. Still, if you're into sports or just need a loud speaker with wind protection, I guess it's not a bad option...

i gotta say, chamelo's music shield is kinda interesting... it's like they took all these cool features from smart glasses and just focused on one thing: sound quality! i mean, that volume is INSANE 😲 but at the same time, lack of touch controls and app support feels a bit outdated. still, if you're an athlete or someone who wants wind protection without breaking the bank, it might be worth checking out 🏋️‍♀️

I'm not sure about this one 🤔... I mean, the sound quality is pretty good, I guess, but it's not like they're gonna blow your mind or anything 😐. And don't even get me started on the lack of features - no touch controls? No app support? It feels like they just phoned it in and hoped for the best 📞. But, at the same time, those adjustable lenses are pretty cool 🕶️... I can see how that'd be nice to have in a sports setting. Overall, it's a solid option if you're looking for something simple, but I'm not sure if it's worth sacrificing all the bells and whistles for 😐.

im kinda disappointed in these music shield glasses lol 🤔 they got the design right tho, electrochromic lenses are so cool! 👀 but like, who uses smart glasses without touch controls or voice assistant? 🤷‍♂️ i mean, whats the point of having a pair of high-tech shades if you can't even control them with a tap on your arm? 🚫 gotta give it to chamelo though, they're tryin to innovate in audio tech and that's somethin. 💡 maybe they'll update their software later tho? 😊

the thing i'm saying about chamelo music shield is its got a dope design 🤩 especially those adjustable lenses that change tint on the fly it's like wearing sunglasses & glasses at the same time which feels super comfy. but yeah, the audio quality is pretty solid too, especially for volume but u can feel them getting a lil' buggy when u make calls or listen to music with loud beats 😐 and battery life is like, meh... not as good as other smart glasses out there. still tho, if ur lookin for somethin that'll block wind & noise while u're outdoors doin ur thang 🏞️
