I remember when our trucks were still running without all these fancy computers
. Nowadays it's all about those codes and live data... what's wrong with just checking the wires yourself?
I recall my old Ford F-150, it had a 5.4-liter engine that could handle anything I threw at it. These newer trucks are like high-tech toys that can break down on you at any time
.
And don't even get me started on these three-cylinder cars... what's the point of saving fuel if your car is gonna stall all the time?
My buddy's got a Chevy Trax and it's always cutting out on him. I told him to just stick with a V8 or something, but noooo... now he's stuck in this annoying start-stop feature
.
Anyway, back to that 2007 Dodge Ram... 18 years old is still pretty decent for a truck, but rust and corrosion are gonna be the death of it eventually. And those hazy headlights? Just wax 'em up like my grandpa used to do
. It's all about simple maintenance now, not like back in my day when you just needed to change the oil every 5,000 miles...
