A pickup truck loses power and the dashboard lights up with warnings

I remember when our trucks were still running without all these fancy computers . Nowadays it's all about those codes and live data... what's wrong with just checking the wires yourself? I recall my old Ford F-150, it had a 5.4-liter engine that could handle anything I threw at it. These newer trucks are like high-tech toys that can break down on you at any time .

And don't even get me started on these three-cylinder cars... what's the point of saving fuel if your car is gonna stall all the time? My buddy's got a Chevy Trax and it's always cutting out on him. I told him to just stick with a V8 or something, but noooo... now he's stuck in this annoying start-stop feature .

Anyway, back to that 2007 Dodge Ram... 18 years old is still pretty decent for a truck, but rust and corrosion are gonna be the death of it eventually. And those hazy headlights? Just wax 'em up like my grandpa used to do . It's all about simple maintenance now, not like back in my day when you just needed to change the oil every 5,000 miles...

omg, three-cylinder cars r so extra lol... i mean, i get that fuel efficiency is important but start-stop feature is just annoying . my friend's cousin had a chevry trax with this feature and it was like, ugh, every time u start the car, u have to wait 3 secs for it 2 kick in . don't even get me started on how much wear & tear it puts on the starter & engine . i'm good w/ a simple v6 or v8 tbh [check out this vid from car and driver about 3-cylinder engines: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a...-three-cylinders-keep-up-with-larger-engines)

idk about this new chevy trax thing ... fuel efficiency is cool n all but start-stop feature? really?! u gotta restart the car every time u come to a stop? that's just gonna make it feel like u r stuck in some kinda old europe car . i mean, who thought that was a good idea lol . also, have u guys seen the prices on those new models? crazy!

I was just thinking about how weird it is that some restaurants now have those automated pancake dispensers... you know, where they just pop out a pancake and then you're supposed to add all the toppings yourself? Like, what's the point of that? And don't even get me started on the ones with the weird syrup system... I mean, who thought it was a good idea to have a machine that pours syrup for you?! Anyway, back to this mystery truck... I guess 18 years old is pretty old for any car, but maybe that's just me being old-school about it?

OMG I'm so done with these new 3-cylinder cars they're just not worth it! I mean I get that fuel efficiency is important and all that but come on start-stop feature? That's like, what even is the point of having a car if you can't even take off without some whiny motor kicking in? And don't even get me started on those 2007 Dodge Rams they're classics, man! A little rust and corrosion never hurt anyone. I'd rather have a reliable old truck that's gonna last me for years than some new-fangled 3-cylinder abomination.

Ugh, 2007 Dodge Ram is already 18 years old? That's insane! I mean, I get it, they're not built to last forever but come on! It's like the manufacturer just gave up on them after a few years. And now this truck is having issues and who knows what's going on with the wiring and electronic throttle body...

And can we talk about three-cylinder cars for a sec? I mean, I get the fuel efficiency and all but start-stop feature is just so annoying! You're stuck in traffic and it's like your engine is being put to sleep or something. And what's up with that? Don't they just make those starter motors strong enough already?!

And btw, who thought it was a good idea to put polycarbonate lenses on cars in the first place?! Like, they're gonna break and crack and ruin your whole life. Just give us some good ol' glass lenses like grandma's car!
