Philadelphia Eagles' 2025 Depth Chart Looks Shaky, but There's Hope
Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles are always making moves in an effort to strengthen their roster. This offseason and into the regular season, we'll keep you updated on the Birds' depth chart as they tweak their lineup.
Offense:
The quarterback position is where it all begins. Jalen Hurts is looking solid at number one QB spot. Next up is Tanner McKee and Sam Howell, who could potentially move up or down in the pecking order depending on how well they perform. Running back Saquon Barkley leads the pack followed by Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley, and A.J. Dillon.
The tight end position boasts Dallas Goedert at number one, Grant Calcaterra takes over at two, while Kylen Granson sits in fourth. The left tackle spot is held by Jordan Mailata, with Fred Johnson stepping up for right tackle after Lane Johnson's injury concerns.
The wide receiver crew features A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Xavier Gipson rounds out the top three. Jahan Dotson takes the seventh slot while Dallas Goedert's teammate, Grant Calcaterra, remains at two, as does Kylen Granson in fourth for tight end.
Defensive Line:
The defensive line is stacked with talent, but injuries and suspensions could affect this unit. Jaelan Phillips leads at number one. Josh Uche takes up the second spot while Patrick Johnson sits out due to injury. Jalen Carter steps up after being injured during a practice.
Safety Reed Blankenship occupies the first safety position with Sydney Brown taking over for him. Andrew Mukuba steps in when Blankenship is unavailable. The cornerbacks are filled by Quinyon Mitchell, Adoree' Jackson, and Mac McWilliams. Edge rusher Brandon Graham's exemption affects his availability as well.
Special Teams:
Kicker Jake Elliott holds the number one spot with Braden Mann following close behind. Mann also handles punting duties. Cal Adomitis kicks off while Grant Calcaterra handles kickoff returns alongside Sydney Brown, but only if Blankenship is injured.
There are several players who will be sitting out due to injury or suspension. For instance, Nolan Smith, the left edge rusher, and CB Jakorian Bennett won't make it onto the field this season.

I mean, don't get me wrong, he's got some great skills but what if he gets hurt? 
Tanner McKee and Sam Howell are both talented players too, so maybe we should give them more playing time. I heard Saquon Barkley is doing well in practice, but have you seen Tank Bigsby play yet? 
. And have you seen the list of guys who are gonna be out because of suspensions or injuries? Nolan Smith is one guy who's gonna miss a lot of games, that's not ideal for their pass rush 
they're always making moves and finding new talent. saquon barkley is gonna be a beast out there 
and jalen hurts is looking solid behind the QB spot. it's all about staying healthy and avoiding those injuries 
gotta keep an eye on that cornerbacks unit, seems like they've got some talented young players coming up through the ranks 
. I'm also loving Dallas Goedert at tight end... reminds me of Zach Ertz back in the day 
. And Grant Calcaterra taking over at two? What happened to Lane Johnson, though?

, but on a serious note, did you see that Saquon Barkley is leading the running backs? 2500+ rushing yards last season and he's gonna make it happen again this year!

. Saquon Barkley's doin alright at RB but what about the other guys? Bigsby and Shipley need to get it together ASAP 
. And defense, man... Phillips is leadin but injuries got everyone worried

. But, I guess that's just how it goes sometimes... teams gotta adapt and find new talent
