2 dozen youth get wishes granted to go to Super Bowl 60

San Francisco, CA - In a heartwarming display of sportsmanship and philanthropy, the San Francisco Bay Area played host to an unforgettable experience for 24 young fans from across the United States. As part of the NFL's partnership with Make-A-Wish, these youth were granted their lifelong wishes to attend Super Bowl 60, complete with an array of extraordinary experiences.

Among the guests at Pier 39 in San Francisco was Jaguars player Cam Little and former San Francisco 49ers Arik Armstead, who joined forces with Penei Sewell from the Detroit Lions. The kids, ranging from 16 to 17 years old, were all battling various health issues, including a brain tumor, leukemia, and other debilitating conditions.

The group was treated like royalty as they walked into Lids store at Pier 39, where they embarked on an exclusive shopping spree to gear up for the big game. The experience left them beaming with joy, and it's clear that this moment has made their journey all worthwhile.

For Alexander Rodriguez, a 16-year-old from Stockton who is now cancer-free after battling a brain tumor, meeting the players was a dream come true. "Great, I feel special," he said humbly. Meanwhile, 17-year-old Alec Martinez, who continues treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, found solace in the smiles of those around him. "Maybe there's a bright light ahead," he reflected.

The young Wish Kids also got to experience other unique experiences, including walking the red carpet at NFL Honors, taking a behind-the-scenes tour of Levi's Stadium, and enjoying a welcome reception at Topgolf in San Jose.

As they prepare to watch Super Bowl 60 at Levi's Stadium on Sunday, these youth will forever cherish the memories of this extraordinary day. It's a testament to the power of sportsmanship, friendship, and kindness that transcends generations and borders.
