Indonesia's new capital, Nusantara, in danger of becoming a 'ghost city'

I'm low-key worried about this Nusantara project . I mean, £700m is still a decent amount of cash, but it's not exactly overflowing from the treasury. I think the problem is that Prabowo Subianto is not putting in enough effort to make it happen. He's more focused on his free school meals program, which is cool and all, but come on, let's focus on building a new capital city first! The environmental concerns are also giving me anxiety - mangrove forests getting cleared left and right? It's like, hello, we're trying to save the planet here not destroy it. And what's up with all these construction delays and flooding issues? I guess only time will tell if Nusantara will be a thriving hub or just another ghost city .
