How to cancel your Peacock subscription

If Peacock's latest price hike has left you feeling frustrated or just looking for a new streaming option, cancelling your subscription is relatively straightforward. Here are some step-by-step guides to cancel your Peacock Premium service via web, third-party providers, promotional subscriptions and more.

To start, log in to your Peacock account through the website or mobile app. Then navigate to Profile icon > Account & Plans & Payments > Cancel Plan. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation process, and you're done.

However, things can get complicated if you're not directly billed by Peacock. If you're using a third-party provider like Apple, Amazon, Google Play, or Roku, you'll need to cancel your subscription through that service as well. For example, on an iPhone or iPad, tap Settings > Subscriptions and select your Peacock plan to manage and make changes. On the top right of the screen, click your account icon and select Payment & Subscriptions.

If you received a promotional subscription from an internet provider like Comcast or phone carriers, check the fine print to see when it will expire. The best way to cancel these subscriptions is by contacting the entity that offered it in the first place. This may involve calling Xfinity or Spectrum directly.

It's worth noting that Peacock doesn't currently offer the ability to pause a subscription, so cancelling and resubscribing at a later date is the next best option. When you cancel, your service won't be immediately terminated, but rather revert to the free tier after the next payment period. This means it's easy to get back into your Peacock account if you change your mind.

Cancelling also doesn't erase any of your data, so don't worry about that. However, manually closing an account is a bit more involved. To permanently close an account, fill out a request via the Privacy Web Form in the Account page and follow the instructions to complete the process.

Ugh, I'm so done with price hikes on streaming services ๐Ÿคฏ! Like seriously, can't they just leave us alone? And honestly, who even knew there were like 5 different ways to cancel your Peacock subscription? It's all just a bit too much for me ๐Ÿ™„. I mean, I guess it's good that they're transparent about the process, but it's still super annoying to have to deal with it. Can't we just stick to one price and not have to worry about all these extra steps? ๐Ÿ’ธ

Ugh I feel you ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ I got my Peacock Premium cancelled by accident too! It's so easy to mess up these things. Anyway, I was thinking, what if there were more options to pause subscriptions instead of just cancelling and resubscribing? That way people wouldn't have to worry about losing access to their favorite shows mid-season ๐Ÿ“บโค๏ธ Just a thought ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿค” I gotta say, Peacock's price hike is pretty steep. I've been a subscriber for a while now, but the new rates are making me think twice about sticking around. ๐Ÿค‘ The thing that's got me frustrated is that they don't offer pause or freeze option for subscriptions... it's either all in or out. That means if I want to try something else later, I'd have to cancel and then sign up again, which can be a bit of a hassle. ๐Ÿ’”

Ugh, peacock's price hike is like, totally out of whack ๐Ÿคฏ! i mean, i know its trying to compete with them netflix folks, but come on ๐Ÿ™„. so now you gotta cancel your premium sub every time they raise the prices? that's just annoying ๐Ÿšซ. plus, if you're using a 3rd party provider like apple or amazon, you gotta cancel it there too? what a hassle ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ. and don't even get me started on the promotional subs from internet providers... those are always a pain to deal with ๐Ÿ“ฆ. i guess peacock just needs to figure out its pricing strategy or something... idk ๐Ÿค‘. anyway, if you gotta cancel, just do it via their website or app, and make sure to close your account if you're done for good ๐Ÿ’ฏ.

๐Ÿค” I've been meaning to cancel my Peacock Premium for ages, but those promotional subscriptions can be super tricky to deal with... like, how do they even work? ๐Ÿ™„ Anyways, it's good that they're making it relatively easy to cancel through their website and third-party providers. But what I don't get is why they can't pause a subscription without having to cancel and resubscribe later on... ๐Ÿ˜’ Like, wouldn't that be more convenient for users?

I'm actually kinda surprised peeps are canceling their Peacock subs already ๐Ÿค”. The price hike was a big deal, but I guess some people just aren't willing to pay more for their fave shows anymore. On the bright side, it's always good to have options, right? ๐Ÿ“บ I've heard great things about other streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. And with those free tiers, you can still watch some awesome content without breaking the bank ๐Ÿ’ธ.

Ugh I'm actually super glad Peacock raised its prices lol ๐Ÿคฃ like who doesn't love paying even MORE for streaming services already? And yeah canceling is soooo easy... said no one ever ๐Ÿ˜‰. Can we just make it harder for people to unsubscribe or something? Like, let's make them have to solve a puzzle or something before they can leave. It's like the streaming giants want to hold onto our money forever ๐Ÿ’ธ.

omg i'm still using my peacock premium subscription from 2023 lol ๐Ÿคฃ its free now anyway ๐Ÿ™ƒ so yeah canceling is super easy but i dont think they got this whole pause feature thing down pat ๐Ÿค” you cant just pause and come back to it like netflix does ๐Ÿ“บ what a bummer! ๐ŸŽ‰

omg u guys i cant even right now peacock just raised prices AGAIN i swear every time they do i cancel my sub but what really frustrates me is that i cant pause my subscription rn cancelling it only means i'll revert to the free tier after my next payment period and what if im in the middle of watching my fave shows?? ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ“บ u think peacock would consider adding a pause option or somethin? ๐Ÿค” at least then i could just take a break from the service without having to restart the whole thing... anyway, has anyone else been hit with this price hike? ๐Ÿ™„

I was thinking about peacocks and their fancy feathers ๐ŸŒˆ... anyway what's the point of having paid subscription if we can't pause it when life gets crazy? I'm not saying I'll cancel my Peacock Premium, but like how they don't have an option to pause subscriptions, shouldn't there be a way to extend or take breaks from our favorite shows without losing progress ๐Ÿค”.
