Sean Combs to Serve Nearly Three Years in Prison Before May 2028 Release Date
Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is set to walk out of prison on May 8, 2028, nearly three years after being sentenced to 50 months behind bars for two prostitution-related counts. The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed the release date on Monday.
Combs was convicted in July after an eight-week trial, with a jury acquitting him on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He maintained his innocence throughout the process. However, Combs' lawyers have announced plans to appeal his conviction and sentence, which has been set at more than four years.
The 50-month sentence includes time Combs spent behind bars before his trial began. Combs was initially found guilty on two counts of promoting prostitution after a lengthy prosecution.
Combs remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits release.

. i feel bad for the guy tho, he didn't deserve to go down like that. but let's be real, we all know he's a businessman, not a saint. his empire's built on hustle and hard work, so if he's gonna get caught up in some messy stuff, it's only fitting that he faces consequences
